Nice hotel just in the right place for us

wonderful stay, just off the plane from US. small indian take out a mile down the road (we walked) sundial close to the water unique

If I could give 6 stars, I would...!

Outstanding 3 night booked with my mother who hadn't been back home to Ireland for 45 years. The guys Killian and Orla are both absolutely lovely people - accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met. Rooms were large with en suite and were cleaned to a high standard. Decor was top-notch and looked newly added. Breakfast daily was plentiful and of a high standard.

Lovely stay.

The place was clean, inviting and in a great spot. A short drive or walk to the near village, and the town of Dondalk and well worth a trip to Carlingford for hikes and a great village walk if you are in the area. Lovely Bed & Breakfast.

A beacon in Blackrock

Only spent one night but I was warmly welcomed and had a spud sleep having been given the key to come in whenever I wanted. Breakfast was timely and delicious - up to a high modern standard.

Disappointed

The host and hostess were most helpful and friendly. Two issues spoiled the visit: the shower in our room was very poor; we were given no receipt when paying by cash. The hostess was not available when we paid and the lady who accepted the money spoke poor English, so when there was no receipt issued we just left rather than create a fuss.

Accoglienza sbrigativa la padrona di casa non ci ha quasi neanche calcolato ci ha dato le indicazioni di base molto frettolosamente e poi non si è più vista fino al giorno dopo al momento di pagare. Camere non particolarmente pulite, soprattutto il pavimento. Colazione discreta e molto limitata. Bagno veramente strettissimo.

Comfortable family friendly bed and breakfast

I will certainly stop here again. Very welcoming family owned bed and breakfast. The breakfast was superb. We were travelling with 4 very young boys
