飯店型住宿，有提供免費膠囊咖啡機，跟照片顯示的房間一樣，離杜伊斯堡火車站不遠，附近也有熱鬧的商店街，是很理想的住宿點。 另外櫃檯可借到熱水壺，超棒！

The guy on the reception in the late evening with the hair tied back was great, sadly I didn't catch his name. Very helpful with suggesting where to park the car with a disabled badge. He went out of his way to be helpful. The guy on the bar was also very friendly too. Between the two of them they restored my faith in Germany after a few bad experiences elsewhere earlier in the day. We'll absolutely be staying at the Mercure next time we're in Duisburg.

Wir riefen vor der Reservierung an und erfuhren, dass es einen Pool und eine Sauna gäbe. Wir machten eine Reservierung und kamen zwei Tage später im Hotel an. Uns wurde gesagt, dass der Pool und die Sauna repariert würden und wir sie nicht nutzen könnten. Es wurde gesagt, dass es einen Spielplatz für Kinder gibt, aber so etwas gibt es nicht. Das Zimmer ist kalt, sie haben das Sofa in ein Bett verwandelt, damit die Kinder schlafen können, aber es war sehr hart. Einzig die Lage des Hotels ist zentral und das ist schön. Es handelt sich auf keinen Fall um ein 4-Sterne-Hotel.

Leider war die Minibar nicht bestückt. Restaurant war geschlossen. Leider nur öffentliche Garage. Pro Tag 12 Euro - oder pro Stunde 2,50 Euro. Service im Restaurant hat im Laufe der Jahre leider stark nachgelassen. Es gibt nicht einmal mehr Untertassen zu den Kaffee-Bechern.

Für einen Städtetrip ein tolles und zentrales Hotel! Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich, allen voran die beiden Herren von der Bar, die Abends den Kindern wunderbare alkoholfreie Cocktails mixten! Das Zimmer war ausreichend groß und sauber! Frühstück war in Ordnung und angemessen.
