「Let me start by saying that Alan, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming, and the room itself was very clean. However, the cleaner used on the tile left a very strong smell that irritated my eyes if I stayed in the room too long. I ended up getting a candle to help cut the smell, which did improve things. 「The location is amazing and a great view of Lake Temiskaming. I got to swim at the beach in early June and the water was perfect, since it is seperate from Lake Temiskaming, otherwise would have been too cold. It was a highlight to be able to swim at the beach right by the hotel. The staff is really friendly and they make an enjoyable free breakfast for the guests.」
