The location of this hotel was excellent! Settled on a “walking only” street along side an endless amount of restaurants, ice cream shops, play ground, arcades and stores for shopping!

A perfect place for going to the beach while having easy cab or Uber access to Old Town Dubrovnik. Very comfortable, friendly staff and nice bar and restaurant. Highly recommended.

A very reasonable choice!

A three star hotel situated nicely by a short boulevard and near a beach! Very friendly staff. The room was spacious but a bit worn out.

Very good hotel Lapad Beach

Once we found hotel is was quite comfortable. Staff was amazing in fact were very helpful getting us to hotel & parking, which was challenging, but once there , all good. AC went out one afternoon & was quickly fixed as it was a whole hotel issue.

The area was amazing, very easy to walk around and the beach is very close by. The breakfast was great but the hotel is very old and the floors were carpeted and if you have allergies, not great. They didn't have bed sheets to fit our beds so we had to ask the front desk for sheets that fit. Come to know that there were no sheets to fit our king size so we had to use three different sheets on just the top of our bed. Unfortunately won't be returning again, no sheets on the bed is a deal breaker for me.

Nice but hard to get

It was a very nice stay overall, but it is very important to mention something that future guests should be aware of: you cannot arrive directly at the hotel by car. The hotel is located in the old town of Dubrovnik, inside the pedestrian-only area, which makes it impossible to drive up to the entrance. This means that if you are traveling with luggage, it can be quite challenging to reach the property. Parking near the old town is very limited, expensive, and not at all convenient. We had to leave our car at a parking area about 10–15 minutes away on foot, and then carry our bags through the narrow streets and stairs, which was definitely not easy, especially under the summer heat. That being said, once you arrive, the location is absolutely fantastic. You are right in the heart of the old town, surrounded by history, charming streets, lively cafés, and beautiful architecture. The staff was welcoming, the room was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped, and the atmosphere of staying inside the city walls is truly unique and memorable. If you are traveling light or without a car, the hotel is an excellent choice and offers a very special experience. However, if you are driving through Croatia, I would strongly recommend planning ahead for parking, bringing light luggage if possible, and being ready to walk. It may take some effort to get there, but once you settle in, you will find it absolutely worth it....Thanks a lot for your consideration.......Humberto and Pilar

Hotel Review

The location of the hotel was excellent right on the pedestrian walk and just steps from the beach. Boris at the front desk was lovely and always helpful. I had forgotten a piece of clothing at another hotel in another city and a tour guide brought it to the hotel and they held onto it for five days until I could make it back to Dubrovnik. I was very grateful for their help. The breakfast were excellent and we also eat in the restaurant twice for dinner which was also very good. We felt that the one exception was we didn’t feel it was great value for the actual price we paid.

The staff were lovely, and the location was fantastic, but the room did not match the photos. One coat hook was broken and hanging upside down as was one of the bed side lamps on the wall and we could not find a switch to turn them on. It was just old and worn especially for the price.

It has potential with its history and location

Hotel Dubrovnik has great potential. It is in an excellent location and has great character. The staff is always smiling and willing to help. Unfortunately the hotel itself is tired and needs a lot of maintenance. Many things were broken in our room. The fridge was broken so the tiniest mini fridge was put in which would barely hold a large water bottle. Handles on cabinetry were broken. There was no shower (only a handheld attached to the bath which wasn’t long enough to utilize as a shower). The beds were incredibly creaky and the quilts needed a good washing. Only one of the three heat/AC units worked. The wifi didn’t work in our room. And the list goes on. We were booked for 5 night and left after 2. We also paid for 5 nights of parking and the lot we were told to park in was blocked off. We were told to wait until tomorrow and maybe it would be unblocked. After three days, it was still blocked, and we still were charged for parking (in the meantime we squeezed our car under a tree farther away from the hotel). Our first meal was also disappointing as one meal came wrong, another was cold and undercooked (rice was crunchy), and the third came over ten minutes after the rest were delivered. The $175 bill was hard to swallow for that meal We had high expectations for the price we paid to stay here, and it was very disappointing. And we were unable to recuperate any of our costs for the three day early check-out or parking.

The hotel was an older hotel and had the look of an older establishment. The breakfast area in the dining area was cramped and the menu was a bit disappointing, needed an upgrade. Price wise not great value.

Lovely quaint hotel

Lovely quaint hotel right on Main Street about 2 blocks from the beach. Parking lot is nearby (costs extra). Our room had a big balcony. A/C was sufficient. The shower was really small and water kept going cold/hot. I hated that we had one key and you needed to use the key to lock the door even from the inside. It kept getting stuck and I struggled every morning to get out. Breakfast very good.
