I traveled with my teenage kids, and they loved the apartment. With 34 degrees in the air, the hottub worked equally well as a cooling tub. We also used the outdoor kitchen for breakfast and lunch - really great alternative after many sessions in overcrowded restaurant areas. Entertainment for was provided by the garden turtles.

Viikon reissu toukokuussa 2019

Huone oli siisti, ja meillä oli oma parveke, wc oli saman kerroksen aulassa parin metrin päässä mutta vain meidän käytössä. Keittiö oli yhteiskäytössä, mutta se ei haitannut ollenkaan. Tunnelmaltaan kodinomainen ja viihdymme hyvin. Vanha kaupunki ja Lapadin ja Gruzin alueet kävelymatkan päässä, paljon portaita! Ei sovi liikuntarajoitteisille. Kaiken kaikkiaan jäi hyvä fiilis :)

Perfect place to stay if you are ok to walk 15 minutes from the old town of Dubrovnik. The room was perfect, thank you for everything ! Moreover, having a shared kitchen can be very usefull.

Smještaj koji je premašio naša očekivanja

Dva noćenja u ovom objektu za Novu godinu su bila fenomenalna. Čistoća i gostoljubivost na prvom mjestu je nešto što nas je kupilo na samom početku. Sobe su moderno opremljene, čiste prostrane i tople čak i u ovo zimsko doba godine. Zajednička kuhinja je odlično opremljena svim potrebnim aparatima, a čaj i kafa koji su bili na raspolaganju su nas dodatno obradovali. Zasebno kupatilo izuzetno čisto, moderno, funkcionalno sa svim potrebnim dodacima. Prostrana terasa sa pogledom na more, idealna za doručak ili jutarnju kafu. Parking odmah ispred smještaja, koji je 7-10min udaljen od starog grada. Zaista jedan od najboljih smještaja koje smo posjetili i rado ćemo se ponovo vratiti. Pozdrav iz Sarajeva, od nas čista desetka!

Nice, clean room with nice balcony. Shared kitchen was handy. Friendly owners. There are quite a few stairs to get up to house. 20 minute steep downhill walk to old town, which means coming back up. I think next time I would park car in public lot and stay in old town.

what a gem

What a gem to find. The property is clean and has a great shared kitchen and balcony – my tip[ is choose the room with its own balcony (yes the toilet is across the hall but it’s no problem and its sole use for you). The owners live next door and are really kind and helpful. Maria was great with recommendations and kind enough to drop us off to bus station. Dubrovnik is 15 minutes walk (easy there but hilly back – OK if you stop for ice cream). Great place and great people

Great place to stay!

Our stay in Maria's place was great! The apartment was very nice, clean and pleasent to stay. The entire place is a family run and it is seenthat they are working hard to make their guests have comfortable and enjoyable stay. Maria was extremely helpful and responsive with some enquiries we had. Place is about 15-20 minutes walk from Old Town of Dubrovnik. There is good convenience store nearby if needed. Overall, a great value for the price. Thank you Maria and we hope maybe to stay with you again in the near future!

Casa gradevole , pulita , molto gentili gli host. Bella vista , sulla costa , non vicina al mare. Non molto distante dal centro storico di Dubrovnik , ci si può arrivare anche a piedi. Unico difetto , la strada , abbastanza trafficata che passa vicino , quindi un po' di rumore.

You can't really have better for this price.

Amazing stay at Guest House Maria Di. Probably the best we had in Croatia for this price. This is very close to the old city of Dubrovnik (15 min walking). Warm welcome. Only minor issue is that the bathroom is detached when choosing the balcony room. We were made aware of that fact only when in place and would have choose the en-suite room otherwise. It should be clearly stated for the customers.

Great service, very comfortable bed. We were welcomed with a bottle of home made red wine. We booked the room with the balcony but the private bathroom was down the hall - the view was worth the trade off for walking 5 feet to go shower. Kitchen was nice for making coffee in the morning and storing lunch supplies.

Guest house with the best host & great ocean view

I stayed there for two days, and it was great experience. When I called a host to check a parking lot for my rental car, the host told me how to get to the parking lot and sent me a text with exact location of it. It was so kind of her. After I arrive Dubrovnik, she explained me several details for the house and gave me house wine she made as a welcome present. Even though the place was a little bit far from old town, it took only 10 mins walk to get there.

Neat, clean but tough walking

We liked the room size, cleanliness, our own balcony, great AC, cimolimentary hosts own made wine bottle and the availability of a shared kitchen and lovely hosts. On the contrary the location means you have to walk a lot of stairs always when you leave for old town, any beach or restaurant. Nearest restaurant, a pizzeria, is appr. 300m away and grocery store is just 150m away. Also our own toilette and shower wasn't in directly accessible from our room, but through the corridor, next to other guests room. The hosts had a few turtles as pets that we saw one day in the apartments yard!

Majoitustalo ja huone olivat hyvässä kunnossa ja siistejä. Huoneesta oli kaunis näköala kaupungin yli merelle. Kävely vanhaan kaupunkiin kesti n 15 minuuttia. Talo sijaitsee rauhallisella paikalla ja ei kadun varressa, joten laukkuja piti kantaa rappuja pitkin kadulta ylöspäin. Marija, hänen veljensä ja muu perhe olivat erittäin mukavia ja auttavaisia ja antoivat hyviä vinkkejä ravintoloista, rannoista ja kävelyreiteistä.

Excellent logement proche du centre ville

Excellent logement à 15 minutes du centre-ville. Maison d'hôtes très propre avec terrasse au RDC et cuisine toute équipée (four, lave vaisselle, micro onde, frigo, congélateur, vaisselles...) Une chambre au RDC et deux au premier étage. Un deuxième étage avec accès extérieur avec deux autres logements. Notre chambre était la seule à ne pas avoir la SDB à l'intérieur, elle était privative mais au bout du couloir. Néanmoins balcon attenant très appréciable. Excellent accueil de Maria, bouteille de vin maison offerte. Attention le paiement se fait en liquide sur place. Pas de paiement par carte. Prévoir donc la monnaie !

Confortable et propre

Un peu compliqué à trouver car hébergement situé en haut d'un escalier et pas d'accès en véhicule. Les chambres sont dans une grande maison avec jardin, les propriétaires vivent dans la maison d'à côté. Terrasse et grande cuisine en commun avec les autres hôtes. C'était très propre. Nous avons reçu un accueil plutôt froid par Maria mais avons surtout eu à faire à son fils qui s'est montré très disponible et agréable. Leur parking (gratuit et bien utile!), partagé avec un voisin, est situé en bas des escaliers. Il y a seulement 4 places et c'est pas très pratique pour se stationner. La chambre est confortable mais séparée de la salle de bain, bien qu'elle était que pour nous. Cette dernière était moderne et la douche immense. En plus de la terrasse en commun, nous en avons eu une rien qu'à nous avec vue dégagée ! Le prix est assez chère mais tout est chère à Dubrovnik ! Comptez bien 10 à 15 minutes à pied du centre historique. Rien de spécial dans le secteur mais il y a deux superettes à 2 pas. Nous recommandons cette guesthouse, surtout pour son confort et son parking.

Great place and value for money

Maria and family are excellent hosts, very friendly, helpful and hospitable. They gave good recommendations of day trips to go for as well as local restaurants and attractions. The rooms also have amazing views of the water and skyline. Had a wonderful time there.
