The hostel is located in a touristic area very close to the beach. The decors and luxurious furniture and amazing staff make it the best hostel in Dubai by far. I wish I could stay longer with the nice and kind people I met there. I made friends for long.

It was a really enjoyable stay, you basically end up bunking with others in a men's or women's dorm and the rooms are very clean. the showers at times do get slightly messy but are cleaned daily. I was lucky to have stayed with some very nice and relaxed people who were very conscientious to follow the dorm rules. The hosts were great and very attentive towards my needs. Close vicinity to Jumeira strip, with access to great restaurants and places to get a refreshing drink. Wifi is not a problem either, no point getting mobile data as it's easily accesible across the strip and in the hostel.

The flush in one of the bathrooms wasn’t working pretty much the entire time I stayed there. Staff was very nice and kept the place clean. A lot of long term guests. Some Russians have been staying there for months and were being rude. Not sure about Dubai rules but many hostels in the US and Europe don’t allow long term stays in hostels. So I was a bit surprised. Since these guests have a lot of luggage and occupy the lower beds. So if you are coming here for a short stay like a typical hosteler/backpacker, be prepared for an upper bed. I also met some really nice people and had great conversations. For a small additional charge, the staff can make breakfast for you and even do your laundry or iron clothes. That’s an amazing perk.
