「Lovely old (Tudor?) building with traditional wooden features, heaps of unique character and a charming pub on the ground floor! Staff were friendly and efficient and the standard hamper breakfast brought to the door on time. No parking as located in city centre but therefore walkable to many touristic amenities and facilities. Would happily stay again and recommend to others.」

「Beautiful hotel even looking through storm Claudia! The food was first class in the restaurant with some of the best chicken I've tasted. The room was lovely and little touches like light coming on when you opened the cupboard & a night light in the bathroom added to the stay. Bed was soft and comfortable. Very pleasant stay with lovely staff and if we ever go up that was again, definitely high on our list to stay: just hope the weather is better :-)」
