「Avoid Waiheke Island Resort! Had a terrible experience where our room was completely not clean even when first checked-in! Dirty and unprepared, bedsheet unmade, towels all over toilet, used coffee cup in kitchen. Staff were unhelpful with insufficient follow-ups, even hanging up on us. They moved us to a worse room without the view we paid for to settle and couldn't reach them anymore to assist luggage up and down the stairs changing over rooms. No follow-up or proper apology, hair still spot...

「Die Buffalo Lodge in Coromandel ist durch einen kurzen Fahrweg auf einem Hügel gelegen erreichbar. Der Ausblick ist sensationell, was durch die sehr großen Fenster in den Zimmern und den öffentlichen Bereichen sowie durch die Terasse noch imposanter wird. Das Zimmer (Premium-Doppelzimmer) war sehr groß und mit einem guten Bett. Bad mit Dusche war auch gut. Wichtig für den Sommer: Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. 「Very well presented and clean. Well equipped with all we needed. The only frustrating thing was the keypad which was supposed to be activated by 3 fingertips on the pad but so often seemed deeply asleep and took numerous attempts to 'wake' it...!!?? 」

「Awesome place, a little small but had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. Place had a few small issues like broken door handle, lose taps and no rubbish bags. Small things but overall pretty happy. Resort facilities we great. Communication was great. Thanks for the stay」

「A great place to stay with views over towards the beach and close to most places on the island. Unit was clean and tidy and the resort itself was small, but had everything you needed. The only down-side was that when we received our arrival instructions, there was a note that the pool incurred a $10 charge which I thought should be included in the room cost. I would certainly stay there again when staying in Waiheke. 」
