「We were prepared for no hot water, no AC, no cell service, but we were not prepared for the overall shady communication, vibes and charges. We booked this hotel to be close to Corcovado, and booked a tour with the hotel. When we asked for details, they said they said that the communication from Expedia was poor, and they only booked our snorkeling tour. We asked to cancel the snorkeling because the national park was our priority. She said they couldn't because they already bought the tickets....

「Wer authentisch in der Natur und bei Locals wohnen möchte, ist hier absolut richtig! Toller Strand, schöne Natur, Trails die wunderschön sind und absolut herzliche und fürsorgliche Gastgeber… das dürft ihr hier erwarten. Frühstück ist top! Abendessen geht nach Absprache auch. Ausflüge könnt ihr auch direkt bei Christian und seiner Frau buchen. Es ist also für alles gesorgt! Viel Spaß und Pura Vida! 」

「Really great staff who really know the area and cultivate the farm. They can give you information on ecology you won't find outside of guided tour groups in the park, and there's also yoga. The property is beautiful and it is easy to see birds.
It is a pretty primitive property and so you should be expecting bug bites and no modern comforts. Bathing in rainwater is amazing, but it is also not warm. Also the ants really bite- I was itchy for a week afterward. So be careful. 」
