"We arrived at Vila Nika to discover that it had been booked already but the owner gave us a room in the Boutique Cosmopolis situated opposite. The view was much prettier, we could see the sunset on the sea, it was beautiful. However there was no kitchenette so we struggled a fair bit in terms of cleaning cups/spoons/etc where we had to use the sink in the bathroom. "Det är ett hotel som med små justeringar kunde få högre betyg. Lite bättre städning, lite trevligare personal och små justeringar i köket. Att inte ha tillgång till kranvatten bara för att kunna sälja dyra dricker till middag är inte acceptabelt. Långa köer till kaffet är också ett minus. I helheten var fru och jag nöjda men i vissa stunder väldigt besvikna. Bra lägge."

"Do not spend the money for this horribly outdated hotel! You are much better off staying at an "apartment" that one of the locals can provide. I am not an overly picky hotel guest, and I come from a Croatian background, so I normally cut hotels some slack in Croatia, knowing that they are not quite what I would expect in North America, but I couldn't wait to leave this horrible relic from the old communist days of tourism.
