"Beautiful property with spectacular views across the Marina. Loved sitting on our terrace watching the fish jumping and a few sightings of turtles. Beach is gorgeous and very quiet. No wall to wall sun beds here! Property manager Karene is a joy to deal with and nothing was too much bother. Starter pack with some essentials (bread milk tea coffee eggs etc) provided in the villa when we arrived which was very welcome after a long flight. "I recently stayed at The Abidah by Accra. While the property itself is wonderful, the experience was unfortunately dampened by the customer service. First, the housekeeping staff was exceptional. Our maid cleaned the suite to absolute perfection, and her attention to detail did not go unnoticed. Unfortunately, the rest of the hospitality experience fell short. Throughout our stay, most employees we encountered lacked warmth, rarely offering a greeting or a smile. This indifferent attitude extended to the restaurant, where service felt transactional with no effort to go above and beyond. Furthermore, walking through the lobby often felt unprofessional; staff members were frequently seen sitting together chatting or looking at their cell phones rather than focusing on guests. The Abidah is a beautiful hotel with immense potential, but the staff's lack of engagement holds it back from being the elite experience it could be. I hope management invests in customer service training, as this great property deserves a team that matches its physical quality."
