Ideal for a short stay

Great hotel for a short stay ……. Much better than I anticipated and I would certainly recommend for a few days. Hotel room was comfortable, had a small conservatory and had an excellent shower. The area around the hotel is quiet, but has a good train connection to Dortmund.

Good value for money hotel

This hotel is great value for money and whilst certainly not 5 star, it’s more than adequate for our needs. Single room is big enough and bed comfortable enough (another pillow would be nice). The shower is in a wet room and is fantastic. Takes 11 minutes on the train into Dortmund HBF, with trains running a 30 minute schedule. Not a lot in Witten Annen-Nord, but found a local bar near the station to watch a couple of football games.

Good Value Option for Basic Accommodation

Basic, reasonably good value accommodation which suited me fine - certainly much cheaper than most places in nearly Dortmund city centre - but just a short train ride away. No frills, but clean and comfortable enough in a convenient location. Breakfast options good. I was able to get into the accommodation even though arriving late in the evening, via the code for the key box which I got from phoning the hotel ahead of arrival. It would be preferable if the booking details (and website) mentioned this so that guests know, but it worked out fine for me.

Rezeption nur über Telefon erreichbar, bekommt dann die Zahlenkomination für die Aussentür und dann die Kombination fur den Schlüsseltresor. Leider gibt es keinen Kaffee oder Tee im Zimmer. Im Hausflur steht ein Getränkeautomat an dem man sich Getränke holen kann. Betten sind gut, Badezimmer sauber, im Haus ist es auch leise. Ich würde aber immer wieder dort nächtigen. Preis Leistung ist ok.

Nicht schön aber des Preises angemessen

Zimmer war sauber aber in schlechtem Zustand. Rauchmelder lag ohne Batterie lose auf dem Kleiderschrank. Absperrhahn fürs Kaltwasser war undicht und tropfte ins Badezimmer. Die Ablage in der Dusche war rostig. Leider gab es auch nur ein kleines Kopfkissen auf dem Zimmer.

Lieblos geführtes Hotel Frühstücksbüffet eine Frechheit, nur eine Sorte Brötchen, es wurde nichts wieder aufgefüllt. Kaffeemaschine musste man selber reparieren… Die Haare in der Dusche waren auch nicht von mir.

Lt. Beschreibung ist das Zimmer mit Mikrowelle und Zugang zum Hof, Die Mikrowelle befindet sich jedoch in einer Gemeinschsftsküche und wurde gefühlt noch nie gereinigt. Einfach nur Ekelhaft genau wie die bereitgestellten Zöpfe und Pfannen. Zum Hof: es gibt eine Art Dachterrasse ca. 4 qm gross welche auch für alle Gäste da ist. Das Zimmer: mehr als spärlich ausgestattet, ein kleiner Kleiderschrank, eine Federkernmatraze wo man jede einzelne Feder spürt, ein alter Tisch, ca 50 Jahre alt, welcher als Schreibtisch dient und ein unbequemer Stuhl. Das Badezimmer ist auch weit in den Jahren gekommen. Fernseher empfing viele Programme nur mit Störungen oder garnicht. Bei der Fernbedienung funktionierte die Lautstärketaste nicht. Fazit: ich habe in dieser Preiskaterogie schon lange nicht mehr so ein schlechtes Zimmer gehabt. Es ist eigentlich eine absolute Frechheit, dass so etwas erlaubt ist. Abgesehen davon das die Bilder bei Expedia ein absolut anderes Bild darstellen. Ich dachte wirklich das ich in einem schlechten Film oder bei Verstehen Sie Spaß mich befinde. Rezeption war übrigens zur keiner Zeit besetzt. Das Einchecken verlief über Telefon. Nie wieder!!!

Dreck, Dreck, und nochmal Dreck

Ich rufe an, bitte um den Türcode. Der Herr am Telefon war sehr höflich und freundlich. Der Cod kam aber nicht. Das war drei Tage vor unserer Anreise. Am Tag unserer Annereise rief ich dann nochmal an, nun bekam ich den Cod. Das Haus selbst ist in einem sehr dürftigem Zustand. Nach Farbe und Technik zu urteilen ist hier seit den 80er nichts mehr gemacht worden. Es sieht heruntergerutscht, verwohnt und dürftig aus. Dazu grüßt von überall der Dreck. Gegenüber der Rezeption ist eine Vitrine die innen völlig verdreckt ist. In den Zimmern nicht anders. Auf den Schrank legt man besser nichts, da liegt der Staub schon eine Zeit, alles verwohnt, und in einem sehr dürftigem Zustand. Staub, Dreck und Spinnweben überall. Nutzen Sie nicht die Toilettenbürste, die vollendet die Symphonie der Kakophonie.
