I gave property 2+ weeks notice of the cancellation so that they can find someone else. Instead, they refused to try and find anyone else during that time and decided not to refund ...

Overall a great stay. Fabulous location, kids loved the pool. The greenery is so good! Much better than most hotels. Breakfast was nice (not amazing, though). Some things are getting a bit run down, but I imagine maintenance in the tropics is pretty challenging.
