What a nice find! Helpful staff and neat as a pin. Places to lock your bike and even a bar with yummy cocktails. Well organized and modern vibe. Quiet after 10:00 pm.

Great Colorado Feel!

This place was so fun! If you want to get a feel for Colorado culture, I highly recommend this place. Everyone was so friendly and down to earth. It felt like home, even though I live on the other side of the state. My teenagers were hesitant about the idea of staying in a hostel, but they loved it too.

It was fabulous!! The kitchen for the guests was worthy of my home! I could have easily skipped dinner at the local restaurants and prepared my own meals as if I was home. The group rooms afforded privacy with curtains at each berth. The showers and restrooms were immaculate and in sufficient number, that I didn’t have to wait for use. A copious amount of literature was available as well as art supplies. Secure bike storage was another bonus of the hostel! Never staying in a hostel before, I hope to stay in many others in the future. Maps of the area and local trails were also available and easy to read, this is important, since the local trails are why I ventured to Delores in the first place! I’m fortunate and grateful I stumbled upon this gem and will recommend the hostel and the trails to anyone that would listen. The Mexican restaurant was the best of the few available, lunch and dinner were well priced and filling. The local grocery store was also a treat with organic produce, high end items and a small library out front. Delores!!

Expedite doesn't have good communication with DBH , a communication gap I believe the was unable to get information at the establishments that matched what I paid for. I was disappointed and choose to stay else where and funds in this adventure.

DBH is awesome! We will definitely be back! Brought our high school daughter and her friend and it was safe, clean and such a great hang out spot! Newer restaurants in the area within walking distance were great!

Property was nice, cozy and quiet, sitting in a town of 200 people with a river running through. Opportunities for river dining and walking and biking trails available. Staff was awesome. Next time I’m in that area, will definitely stay at this Hostel.

Great place to stay in Dolores

Beautiful historic building rehabilitated into a fun hostel. The hosts were welcoming and helpful, but not overbearing. The rooms were cozy, but the common areas were amazing. It was very quiet when we were there.

Local Gem

I lived in this town for over a decade and was returning to visit some friends and climb in the area. This by far is one of the best upgrades to the SW Colorado area. Whether you want to ski Telluride, mountain bike Phils World, visit the ruins in Mesa Verde or climb in Indian Creek this is the perfect central point to basecamp out of. It's hard to run a small business in a remote area. I have seen a lot of business fail here but the team at the Dolores Bike Hostel are doing it right. I love this community and this is an added gem
