Since we didn't know where we were supposed to park our car, we had to walk inside and it was quite confusing during the rush hour at the restaurant. Comfortable beds. Too humid bathroom, (condensation). I stayed in better Van der Valk hotel/room.

I really like Dokkum. It's a hidden gem with lots of biking and walking trails through the countryside. Beware the harsh sea wind in the winter, though! It will break your umbrella. The town Dickensian Christmas Festival (with costumers!) is a treat
