Timgad Hotel Hazem has wonderful, responsive staff, especially the front desk. They helped me get a taxi and helped adjust the number of nights I stayed. The hotel is clean and the rooms are fine. Mine had no desk, but the internet worked OK. The breakfast had coffee and lots of pastries, but othewise ...

This is a charming and most certainly underrated hotel in the heart of Batna. It is a 10 minute walk from the railway station and is operated by a very friendly owner who speaks English fluently.
