"For a family of 5, this was a great sized hotel room. Having a separate bedroom space from the living area and bathroom was perfect and the bedroom is pretty far from the door to the room so it really limited night time noise. Having the sink area outside that bathroom was great and it's nice the room has a mini-fridge and a microwave. Kids loved the pool and I loved the fitness center. I wish for the price we paid they would have done a hotel breakfast rather than having to then pay at Tony Romas. The food there was good, and there's a Smitty's behind the hotel that also was awesome.
The property could really use a renovation though. The rooms and hallways probably haven't been touched since the early 2000's and it's looking pretty dirty and the bathrooms in the rooms need to be refreshed with new toilets and showers as well. Actually, they need a full makeover. It made the hotel feel kinda gross which is too bad as it's actually a great hotel. Also, the front desk could use some work. They had the door open to the back and it looked pretty disheveled and disorganized.
I'd recommend staying here though I would warn everyone about the dated interior."
