TV only had 3 channels. Microwave didn't work properly. No soap in shower. Staff had no clue how to fix anything.

It was fine for what we needed. There were just some odd things. There was never anyone at the front desk, just a sign that said “I’ve stepped away, please use the phone to contact me”. At check in there was nobody there except for an iPad. I attempted to check in through the iPad but couldn’t get far. As I walked out to go back to my car, a gentleman came over and said are you ready to check in? He brought me in, upgraded our room, and we were on our way. The lobby of the hotel was bare- other than the iPad stand and the desk, which had nothing on it. It had no chairs, signs, artwork, pen cup… nothing. We checked in and went to our room. It was fine. It was clean, other than place on the wall it looks like there used to be something there but it was moved and there was a big hole there. Otherwise it was clean and fine. There was no housekeeping service to the room for the 4 nights we were there. This is was fine- but would have liked to know that upfront - we would have been more conservative with the towels. The 2 small trash cans filled up pretty quickly. However, we requested new towels in the middle of our stay and they were brought to us immediately. Pros: budget friendly, clean, responsive when we asked for towels, large fridge (no microwave), ac worked great, pool looked clean Cons: hallway smelled of something, (room was fine) no housekeeping, absent staff (though reachable by phone), no breakfast Bottom line- it was fine, just adjust expectations

I was not able to stay because the bed in the handicap room was very high, the new trend in hotels. I dont know how they expect someone 5'2" with mobility issues to get into a bed 3" off the ground. I can't imagine tying from a wheelchair. The hotel seems to be under construction. The staff were not very knowledgeable about ADA laws. The only reason I gave more than 1 star was because they refunded my money.

This was one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in. It was not clean (our shower walls and shower curtain even had mold on it). The lamp shades were broken and the AC would randomly start/stop working. They have stuff in the halls for what appears to be a remodel or maintenance, but never saw anyone actually working. Reading other reviews, that’s been going on for a while. We were there 4 nights and never received housekeeping. We had to raid a hallway cart for fresh towels and TP. The front desk is empty and you have to call and wait for someone to appear from a next door hotel. Never again.

I love this hotel and stay here anytime I'm in Dickinson. It is quiet and the pool and hot tub are wonderful to dip into as a break on long journeys. Hotel is kept very clean and the area is safe. Highly recommend.

Listing stated room would accommodate 3 guests. We were traveling as a party of 3. When we got to our room there was a king bed but no pull out bed. When I went to the desk they said they didn’t have roll away beds. They said they could give us extra bedding but someone would have to sleep on the floor. They offered to put us in a 2 queen bed room but required us to pay an upgrade fee. We also felt the pet fee was unreasonably high- $70/night. The desk clerk was very kind but unable to help. The manager was on site but would not meet with us.

This is a hotel in the middle of a transition. It was clean & quiet, it had a very nice pool that was already remodeled. At the time of this review the breakfast area was under construction, so I believe at some point this would be an added feature which will be nice. My only feedback currently would be that this is an extended stay type of facility where even the Studio type rooms are equipt with a 2 burner stovetop, full size refrigerator & a diswasher - people stay in these with the intention of being able to make a meal or two in house. Our room had ZERO plates, cups, glasses or utensils - there were 2 small pans & a cutting board. When we went to inquire at the front desk we were given 1 plate, 1 bowl & a fork and a knife (for TWO people, lol) - along w/a box of plastic utensils and were told "thats all we have." As they are doing the renovations they need to focus some energy on properly stocking the rooms to match the features they provide.
