Clean, well-kept, and friendly staff! The continental breakfast was simple but wonderful, and the hotel was quiet and lovely!

Disliked: Staff & service, room comfort
We arrived late and went right to our room to sleep for the night. AC kept turning off and not working making it very difficult to sleep because it was hot.
The location was great with easy access to roads and easy to find. Manager was very friendly and helpful. The room could use better housekeeping as there was beer cans and assorted trash under the beds but over all pretty clean elsewhere. A nice quiet room. The special Veteran parking right in front of main door is a plus.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Older motel, but clean. Dripping water in tub. Could use a little maintenance. Very handy for the dog. Just opening the door is always good for me.
It was handy that we could walk across the street to get something to eat. I think there was some issue with the electricity as the microwave did not work and the A/C unit quit working too. Don't think the young lady at the desk understood what I was telling her.
It was a place to sleep and shower after a long day on the road. While the pictures of the building looked decent once there it was obvious they were outdated or photoshopped. While everything was clean and no bugs it was just one of those that you couldn’t help but think there would be making your skin crawl all night long. We got up and left early not even bothering with the limited breakfast that was offered. And while it is a small building you also have just stairs to carry your luggage up if your on the second floor.

The room was fairly clean, tub tile had some mold. The large Motel sign off the highway said MO EL.
The completely full trash can and cigarette butt container outside were never emptied in 4 days.
There was seldom anyone manning the desk. My friends room down the hall was the room from hell. She sat on the edge of her bed and fell on the floor, hurt herself, because the “leg” was missing. She had no coffee maker, and there’s were other undesirable things.
Good things: the T.V. had lot’s of movie channels.
I would never return.
This hotel is just fine for what it is - an older Super 8 in a very small rural town. The property is a bit run down, with pet scratches on the doors, but the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. The hallway smelled weirdly of old curry spice, but the room itself didn't.
We also discovered in the morning that the in-room refrigerator was plugged into the same circuit as the light switch, so our refrigerator acted as a fancy icebox.
There's really nothing wrong with the area around the property, it's just that there's really nothing great about it, either. The Pizza Hut and Arctic Freeze are just across the street, which was good.
There was only one other person staying at the hotel, so it was plenty quiet. The staff person who checked us in was friendly and efficient. The staff person who worked the breakfast shift did not appear to be present, as there was a "Leave your key here" box on the desk.
There's really nothing wrong with the area around the property, it's just that there's really nothing great about it, either. Overall, I would stay there again - the price was right.
