When I arrived to Dhaka, this hotel was shut down. I then had to spend days on the phone with Expedia trying to get my money back for a week-long stay. Not how you want to arrive to a city like Dhaka at night. What a nightmare.

They publish rates in usd and charge in taka with exchange rate according to them which is much lower much much lower it is a fraud .... why dont charge in usd when they display in usd ???

one of the unprofessional hotel stuff i ever faced during visiting Bangladesh. they need to learn how to talked to their guests also try to help when they need something. front desk receptionist was really rude to me and my cousin while i was there. room is too small and dirty. also bad smell. bathroom isn't the way it showed on pictures. just help yourself guys don't bother to go there.

The staff made it worth it.

The staff was exceptional. Room service was not great at delivering what I asked for. However, it was remedied. The bed could be a tad higher and less bumpy, but it was doable. Due to the staff alone (and easy location to get to other places) I would recommend staying here.

Excellent hotel

First trip I've ever taken to Bangladesh where the mosquitos did not eat me alive, and the food or water did not sicken me. I attribute this success to this hotel. Facilities were bug-free (only one or two mosquitos seen), and I got fresh tasty food from the hotel restaurant, both as room service and as eat in diner. The hotel bathroom had nice touches like a hot water heater, makeup mirror, and ledges for all my supplies. Fresh towels daily. Plenty of travel-adapter-like outlets. Many lights. Nice and usable wardrobe and desk, even a mini-fridge. Since it was a single room, I had to ask for a room safe, which I did get. Always had doormen and friendly knowledgable front desk.

もてなしの勉強をもっとすべし。

3泊して、ドアボーイの対応はすごくいい。不快だったのは1日ツアーを申し込んだことだ。ダッカ郊外のSonargaonとSadahghatへいくタクシーを頼んだ。10時間チャーターで8000タカとかなり高いと思った。ウーバーを勧められたが、現地に行って捕まらない最悪の事態を想定して、頼むことにした。予定の時間よりも早く終わったら料金を差し引くと言われた。10時ごろ出発して、3時半ごろホテルに戻ってきた。5時間半と契約の半分ぐらいで終わった。速く終わったから割引のことを言うと、ツアーを申し込んだ時の担当者と違って、確認して、連絡すると言われた。数時間後、部屋に電話がかかってきて、速く終わろうが、最初に支払った金額が履行され、減額はできないと言われた。私の要望に応えるためにわあわざホテル外の運転手を雇ったなどど理解できない理由をつけられて向こうの都合でおされた。せめて帰りの送迎サービスを手配をしてくれればとかすかな期待をしたが、もらうものをもらったら、しらないという笑顔の億に腹黒さが垣間見えた。帰国の際の空港税は払う必要があるかと気宇と。フロントの2人はUSｄ10と口をそろえて言われた。しかし、空港で聞くと「何それ」という感じで払う必要はなかった。旅行は楽しかったが、たとえダッカへ来ても、もう2度とこのホテルは利用しない。Sadahghatは港町で、ダッカの中心街とは違う活気にあふれたにぎわいがあって楽しかった。

I have recently stayed at Hotel Orchard Suite , Dhaka for 3 nights and it was a comfortable stay with moderate price - Value for money. Hotel is located in a clean area with easy access to the airport and the city . Rooms were neat and clean with friendly approach of staff make this hotel unique.
