We've stayed here before, and it was excellent this time as well. They have a variety of breakfast options, and will make omelettes and waffles to order. Staff are always hospitable and willing to help, whether by bringing your bags to the room after a long day of travels, or helping to book a cab. The room and bed were clean. The hotel takes safety measures for guests, such as having outdoor security and a safe in the room. They are mindful of little things that many places overlook. We recommend this as a great place for expats - better than other places we've stayed in the city! The only small suggestion I have is to keep breakfast items like potato wedges and paratha hot in a warming tray. Truly everything went well during our stay.

THE WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED AT IN A DECADE

PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL. I will give you many reasons but above all, they will not only not listen to you. They will rob you, lie to you and then accuse YOU of rejecting help. 1. We booked the executive room for the space for our family that comes with a KING bed. What a joke. It was a full. Not even a queen. Then, when we told them they had the AUDACITY to say, “it’s a king bed for that room.” (What does that mean??) Then, when hotels.com intervened they told them “ Unfortunately though, after speaking with Hotel Bengal Blueberry, they've informed that they have provided you a Royal Suite room category that had a King size bed in it.” PLEASE SEE THE PICTURE I ATTACHED. Judge for yourself. 2, we have two babies and GET THIS…the lights around the ceiling WOULDN’T turn off. Our girls fell asleep but my wife and I couldn’t easily with the lights on (see picture). The staff came and from the door with the remote couldn’t turn them off either. SOOOO we had to just sleep with lights on. Crazy. 3. When we asked for a partial refund they completely denied us saying we got what we paid for. 4. I haven’t even told you about the blood on the sheets (see picture). If it was a normal review they might get three stars for a crappy breakfast, kind doormen, and rooms from 1963. But after the service and unbelievable arrogance, one star was FAR TOO GENEROUS. I say this for you…please avoid this place. For your sake.

Very rude receiption

I am a foreign resident. I wanted to bring my guest into my room. This hotel didn't allow me. Very disappointining. The guy in the receiptikn was very rude. He asked me to leave the hotel. What kind of hotel provide that kind of service to guests.

Sehr schönes Hotel in guter und etwas ruhigerer Lage. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Personal war unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ebenfalls sehr gut und hat eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Dingen geboten.

Enjoyable stay

Very nice hotel. Located in the less hectic part of Dhaka. Rooms are large and comfortable. All staff are exceptionally polite and professional. Breakfast was buffet style and varied daily. Plenty of options to ear. There is also a supermarket next door. Taxi service was a bit expensive but other than that an enjoyable stay.

Good value for money

The hotel staff are extremely helpful and efficient. The room was clean and comfortable but had an odd smell. The rate was reasonable compared to other locations where I've stayed. Great location.

Hotel.com offer this hotel with complimentary features that you are told are payable extra & I mean a lot extra when you are 6000 miles away from UK at the hotel !!! Waste of time. Bengal Blueberry is lovely though.

Very nice hotel in Gulshan for the price!

Gulshan is an expensive neighborhood in Dhaka; Blueberry hotel provides big hotel amenities for an affordable price. I recommend it for location, value for money, and overall cleanliness and comfort.
