Incredible views! Get the room with the view. It's very peaceful here, staff are attentive and welcoming, on-site restaurant is great. Room was also great, although fan very loud in our particular room - maybe an old fan that needs replacing. Otherwise 5*

Overall a good property and we had a comfortable stay. Great views from high up in the mountains. Food was good but not great. Main complaint is that the staff are very timid and soft spoken, with very limited English or Hindi skills. Also the bedding is quite old.

Amazing view from the balcony. Staff was super friendly. I felt so thrilled to receive welcome with garland and super delicious herbal tea. Breakfast was having so many options. I spent 6 nights while working remotely, it was absolutely a great experience. Although it was a bit costly

The views and activities were great. We do not speak Hindi and we had a hard time communicating in English. It was especially problematic in the restaurant.We realize we are in a country we do not speak the language of but thought the hotel would have more staff fluent in English. Service was slow and sometimes non-responsive.

We recently enjoyed a two-day stay at Amberdale Hotel, and it was fantastic. The hotel offers several experiences for guests, including a morning short trek, a hike to a tea estate, and a visit to a nearby waterfall. We also loved the tea tasting, evening snacks, and the cozy night bonfire. Situated on a hilltop, our valley view room was breathtaking, showcasing beautiful tea plantations. The room was cool, cozy, and luxurious, with excellent amenities and a lovely walk-out balcony. The hotel also features a recreation area perfect for hanging out with friends. Additionally, the food was delicious, and the spa services were a nice touch (couldn't experience though). Overall, we had a wonderful stay, making it a great choice for everyone, especially couples. Highly recommend!

They made a great welcome with flowers etc. The room and surrounding was decorated nicely. Staff was very courtious especially Kala and Keiren. Food was excellant very family friendly so much so that they left children touch the buufet food and put it back, which is very unhealthy. they should make it clear that the parents supervise the children. Unfortunately it rained both days, couldnt go anywhere but the cooking show by the cheff was great and tasteful.

As most of the reviews have mentioned, the hotel has beautiful views of the valleys. Its nice and refreshing to wake up looking at the views in the morning. You feel invited to the property and the staff is helpful. The access road is terrible and there is no restaurant within walking distance. The hotel does try to sell dining/breakfast package which are quite steep. Also, their breakfast and dining menu prices are very expensive. I would have liked the hotel to have reasonable dining price since there is no nearby eating options other than driving to town. The kids enjoyed the game room. The property has only one elevator which at times is slow. But we liked the food in the restaurant and the location and views trumps everything else. Would highly recommend the hotel.

The lobby is very impressive and the restaurant is good. Food is tasty and diverse. But… the rooms were not as expected, no elevator and there was a lot of noise from one floor beneath which is some kind of quarters for employees. The billing for the staying is one big mess! All in handwriting, like we are at the 19 century… I wasted a lot of time in setting the bill. Eventually they found a mistake, and now all over again. Also the gym is not maintained and some machines doesn’t function well or doesn’t function at all. Long story short - nice place, but i am sure that there are better options around…
