Property was an apartment with a large kitchen and bathroom. Very well equipped and located in a quiet area of the old town. Fantastic, would definitely stay here again.

A beautiful historic property near to the river right in the heart of the old city of Deventer. I stayed in a studio, which had a mezzanine level and stairs up to the bed. It was well equipped and the bathroom was very modern. Note - the stairs were very steep up to the bed, so wouldn’t suit someone immobile. The stairs in the hotel are also very steep. The hotel staff were very friendly. All in all a very lovely stay.

Not good enough....

Expectations were high, a 2 bedroom hotel-appartment at a very desirable location in the middle of the city. The reality was, a cold ( radiators did not work) noisy appartment, lacking in quality and finesse the price should warrant. To tol it all off, no hot water in the shower after 5 minutes. The proprietor did act quickly, apologized for the inconvenience, tried to fix it, but to no avail. All in all, a very bad experience in a hotel where price and value do not match.

What a charming and unique place by the river. The Hotel Vischpoorte gave me a red-curtained room with a large picture window onto the street. It was fun to watch the traffic go by from inside the living room. Many unexplored possibilities would bring me back to this place.

Vriendelijke gastheer en ontvangst, recent nieuwe uitbater. Locatie is ligging is perfect. Charmant pand en historisch. Beetje oubollig, maar heeft ook ergens zijn charme. Nieuwe uitbater gaf wel aan 1 en ander te willen moderniseren. Onze tip zou zijn eerste focus op tempratuur. We hebben het hele verblijf behoorlijk koud gehad in de woning. Ondanks we radiatoren vol open hadden. Uiteraard begrip voor historisch pand en moeilijk te verwarmen is, alleen tijdelijk een elektrisch kacheltje om even bij te verwarmen was deze periode van het jaar niet verkeerd geweest. Was eigenlijk voor een oudere in het gezelschap wel een smet op het verblijf.

Leuke studio in het centrum

Karaktervol en leuke studio in de nok van een oud pand, met een klein dakterras aan de achterzijde van het gebouw. Met een klein keukentje en ruime minibar koelkast. De badkamer met douche is wat klein maar functioneel. Het is in een pand bij de nieuwe markt, dus lekker centraal. In een kleine hotel garage (max 2 auto’s geparkeerd. Ontbijt zelf in de studio gedaan.
