Worst hotel stay we've ever had. From 1:30am to 4:30am, the female in the room next door SCREAMED profanity, apparently into her phone, while banging something around the room and against our shared wall. Impossible to sleep, and fearful because, well, every screwball in the country carries a gun these days. It's impossible that no one on staff heard this 3-hour tirade, but nothing done about it. Police seriously should have been called. Never, EVER again.

We arrived at the hotel around 10:30 PM and were immediately alarmed to see police presence and an overall unsafe atmosphere. As two young women traveling alone, we felt extremely vulnerable. The receptionist informed us of a “situation” and advised us to stay in our room for our safety. This was incredibly frightening and unacceptable for any guest to experience.

The good part of this property was that the room was 100 dollars a night but you get what you pay for. The beds were worn and had dips where many other people had slept. There were 3 tiny pillows and you couldn’t get more, we asked. There were holes in the wall that the hotel knew about because there were terrible patches around it. The carpet hadn’t been vacuumed and still had trash on the floor from the last people. The sink didn’t drain well and when it did it was so slow it left stuff in the bottom of the sink (soap, toothpaste). The tub didn’t drain and even with a short shower had water up to our ankles. We had 2 tiny towels, no wash clothes or hand towel. There was no place to hang the hand towel. We had to go to the desk to get more towel. The tub faucet leaked and had for a while because there was a rust stain. The toilet chain broke but we fixed it ourselves. There was an 8 inch crack in the window glass. Breakfast was pretty limited and tables were never clean.The daytime front desk folks were great but the night person was rude and not helpful. The air conditioners in the hallway didn’t work on our floor and it was so hot. The elevator was dirty and had a sticky floor most of the time we were there. The two flower pots out front were full of cigarette butts and had broken, were taped with painters tape and spray painted. But hey, it’s a 100 bucks.

We were evacuated in the middle of the night because of a horrible smell in the halls. and after all of the inconvenience they proceeded to be rude to the guest and make assumptions as to who caused it. Then to top that off over charged my account over $500 for absolutely nothing no damage or anything was done against policy. The staff is horrible and rude. They will be hearing from my attorneys.

The building is just run down and not up to Country standards. Broken parts in elevator (Buttons missing, frame broken and so on), carpets in halls wrinkled up and worn, Shower faucet stripped, real thin towels every 3 days….and on and on. We were very let down! Not even an afternoon cookie at this place. This was the last 3 days of our vacation so we just put up with it.

Overall, a great experience. Any problems that arose were dealt with quickly and efficiently. My only complaint is that the air conditioner was loud, and needed to be fixed. The staff was kind and friendly, and I'd stay here again.
