Upon check-in, grabbed a bell cart from the foyer for our things that barely rolled due to damage and lack of maintenance so had to drag it like a boat anchor through the hotel, then the room we were assigned had a door lock assembly that had dead batteries, not unlocking with multiple cards leaving my wife standing in a hallway, late & tired while I made multiple trips back to the front desk for replacement key cards, finally being assigned a different ("upgrade"?) room nearby that we had to fight our way in the badly fitted door only to find no sitting furniture, all having been removed, no suitcase stands or anyplace other than floor to open bags and a dirty bathroom vanity and tub/shower bottom. Upon calmly and kindly noting issues found to the night desk manager, was told that the facility manager would call us and offer a discount. That call did not come and upon checkout the following morning, did meet the facility manager showing her pictures and kindly mentioning issues and asking for the discount offered. She said that because the room was booked through a booking site, she could not refund anything however could offer a 10% off coupon for future stays...
Not gonna happen.
