Staff was very friendly, room was mostly clean (except for a few things found under the bed), pool was clean and not over crowded, lots of places to walk to if you want. I would definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.

We were supposed to stay Friday night and Saturday night but decided to leave before because the room was making us feel sick there was obvious mold in the room my daughter got sick from it would never recommend this hotel although the staff were very nice

This is a very good property if your on a tight budget. Unfortunately our rooms were very dirty and the bathtub had hair from previous guest. One of our microwaves did not work so we had to use our other rooms. Besides that the breakfast and the staff was amazing.

Stuck in the elevator twice, moved 3 rooms and had a wrench to turn our shower on. Waited 20 minutes to check in Staff were friendly and tried their best.

I called the hotel to let them know we would be checking in later as we had a family event started at 5 and we had to go directly to that location, they said fine, it was ok. We got there about 9:30 and there were no more suites available, only a double queen which as you know was a small room. There was a public hair in the bathtub. I was shocked my room was given away. I couldn’t make a real big fuss because we were tired and it was late so obviously we took what was available which was the last room. I’ve never experienced that. The next morning the manager said she would give me a discount on another stay but I declined it. Otherwise the hotel wasn’t bad. The breakfast was decent. The staff was really friendly. It’s definitely not a5 star but not a bad place. The room was clean other than what I mentioned. The bed was very comfortable.

The first 2 hotel rooms they tried to give us smelt was unclean the one had urine in toilet no shower curtain no towels. The window was open with Bees around window. The greeter knew how disappointed I was and went and cleaned a room for us. This was much better and I appreciated her kindness. She apologized. I told her she didn't need to apologize but the owners should look at what they have and get to work. The stairs going to the 3rd floor outside was shabby. Not sure how safe they were.

The lobby has been updated! The rooms have some minor updates. What was disapointing about the hotel room: there wasn't any shampoo, conditioner, or toilet paper in the bathroom. The counters weren't wiped and had crumbs and wrappers on them still. The floor hadn't been swept. When they tried to paint the walls, there were paint spots all over the floor. There's a patch hole in the middle of the room that was not finished. There was a light in the room that didn't work. Positive:the breakfast was your normal free breakfast but it was always stocked and cleaned.

The room looked like a dog was trying to break put of it. The remote was missing and a lamp missing. The staff was amazing and helped us move rooms, but the hotel quality was not okay. Also got stuck in the elevator

The location is conveniently located within walking distance to a gas station, convenience market, coffee, and breakfast place. However, the building is in disrepair. Every furniture, appliance, and structure visible in the room and surroundings is in horrible condition. Peeling paint, rusty faucets, poor draining sinks and tubs… thin walls so you can hear the people next to you, above, and around you. Not a value if you can’t get any rest at all.

This was by far the FILTHIEST room we had ever seen! First room the lights in the bathroom didn’t work,so we were given a second room,which had someone else's hair ALL over the toilet,tub,and bathroom.there was dirt and debris in every corner, NO toilet paper (went and bought our own) the ONLY clean part of the room was the sheets. We will be adding ALL Baymont hotels to the list of "never again".Friendly staff,yes- and the morning coffee with their breakfast tasted BURNT.

Felt uncomfortable here.

The beds were amazing. The rest, not so much the walkways were filthy, the employees were rude. There were some sketchy people walking through and getting ice from the machine. Filling huge coolers. There was a man standing by the pool area asking for money. Then he stood there just watching us, until I felt uncomfortable and went inside. Also, it isn't listed on the site, but when you book there is a fee. Undetermined how much I heard one say $50 and I heard the other say $100. Mine was $50 The pool was decent. But couldn't enjoy it,due to the pan handler.

First room had no lights, shower was broken, toilet roll holder was missing and door wouldn’t lock. Second room we were moved to the deadbolt was broken, and the homeless men a room away were yelling and screaming, pacing back and forth in front of the rooms until after midnight. The third room they moved us to the shower didn’t function at all and the phone was broken. The whole place smelled like marijuana and urine. This hotel was in deplorable condition, the mechanics of the place were non functional and the furniture was falling apart. Please see pictures… Staff at the front desk were very pleasant. Only good thing I can say about this stay.

Had "maintenance " demand to come in at 9 am and spray "ant/pest" spray all over the perimeter of the room, WHILE WE WERE IN THE ROOM. tv looked like it was covered in nasty bodily fluids likened to gooey milk... Many outlets didnt work at all. Beds were maybe?? Cleaned thoroughly. Showere takes forever to turn off. Toilet clogged with an average sized poop. Lobby staff was mostly nice. Had tennants/guests fighting constantly(idk cause there might've been people living there short term) . Pool water is greener than the pool cover itself. Wouldnt book here again of im ever coming to detroit area

The first room we were given had a door that didn’t seem like it closed properly, smelled of cigarette smoke outside the room and it was leaking into the room, a broken light in the Toliet closet, and the phone was all bashed in. The elevator was broken so to access the room on the third floor, you had to climb the rickety fire escape. I requested a different room. I was told when we get back late that night, we’ll be given a different room. The 2nd room was also on the 3rd floor. The door seemed a bit better but the condition of the room was really run down. Drawers on the furniture were broken, missing items from the walls, no lights over the sink, just really run down. The breakfast area was very nice as was the food items. The kitchen worker was very nice and attentive. That was the only good thing about the stay. I couldn’t believe this was a Baymont! Very, very sub par. It felt like the hotel was being used as a homeless shelter. I would never stay at this hotel again and even question staying at another Baymont by Wyndham.
