I rarely leave reviews, but this stay was beyond unacceptable. The Baymont Hotel was hands-down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
Cleanliness: Nonexistent
From the moment we walked in, the hotel reeked of urine. The smell was nauseating and unavoidable. The floors were sticky, and every carpet was heavily stained—not just in one room, but throughout the property. It honestly felt like the place hadn’t been properly cleaned in months, if not longer.
Safety & Security Issues
We had three rooms booked. Two of them would not open with the key cards completely non-functional. The third room was even worse: the door was already unlocked when we arrived and wouldn’t lock at all. That’s a terrifying safety risk, especially in an area where police were already present on site due to other guest disputes. The environment was chaotic and concerning.
Front Desk Service: Disgraceful
Initially, the front desk staff promised a refund due to the situation, which gave us some hope. But after checking out, they refused to answer our calls and completely dodged responsibility. No follow-up, no refund, and no professionalism.
Police Involvement
Yes—you read that right. The police were there handling disputes with other guests. That should be a red flag to anyone considering staying here.
Final Verdict: DO NOT STAY HERE.
This hotel is in complete disrepair, unsafe, and managed with zero accountability. Spend your money elsewhere literally anywhere else would be better.
