「Ideal location for visiting five sisters zoo and the alpine coaster. Room was dated but was spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed. Check in staff were lovely as were the bar staff. Our room was on the ground floor and we were not disturbed from the car park or other guests. Would definitely visit again」

「I take my grandson down every year for him to go plane spotting. It’s a great location for this and we eat here as well. I think the food is a bit pricy for what it is and snacks are definitely a bit of a rip off. A bag of skittles, fruit pastilles and a small box of Pringles was £8.20.」

「The home is absolutely charming! Mary and Donald were so sweet and helpful, we felt very warmly welcomed. The room was a bit small, but the bathroom was large and comfortable! Breakfast was filling and fresh, it’s clear lots of love and care go into it. The only issue we ran into was frequency of buses and trains, but if you’re willing to walk for 20 minutes to the train station you can get into Edinburgh within an hour. 」

「See unique, boutique, hotel with beautiful views of the water and the bridge restaurant right downstairs and another breakfast lunch restaurants on the premises. Had a great time wonderful property. Not necessarily a destination, but if you’d like to spend the night or two and relax, it is very pleasant.. it was our last night in Edinburgh. We needed a place to stay before we went to the airport in the morning and had a great time not in the middle of town however so you will need to get a taxi...
