「Lovely location with seaside within 1 min and a stream just next to our apartment. Loved the birds and sunset viewing. Minimal road noise in unit 5. Clean room. Comfortable beds. Newly renovated bathroom and toilet. Full kitchen appliances and shared BBQ facilities. It just lacks some cooking utensils: baking dish to use in the oven, big salad bowl and a cover for the frying pan. 「A good medium-sized motel with good service and spacious rooms. Despite being close to the street, the room was quiet and well equipped. The air conditioning is particularly pleasant in summer. So recommended it hits best.」

「Awesome place to stay, bit of a sewerage smell at front of property but the apartment was beautiful and clean and smelt good!!!! This is a great option for people who have a whanau member in hospital, you can cook them a kai and walk it straight up to the hospital as it was a 2 minute walk. Well done Lorne Apartments, we had an awesome stay.」

「The apartment is modern and comfortable, well equipped from the kitchen to the cosy box spring bed. The view from there or from the veranda over the valley is terrific and Jonathan, the host, is friendly and helpful. There is nithing more you could ask for. Just be careful that the drive towards the apartsment is very steep. 」
