"Lovely clean modern hotel. Suite was huge and beds really comfy. We stayed during a hot period so struggled a big with the heat as the suite has big windows, but there was an aircon unit we could use. Super friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but we kept having to ask for refills of most things, but they were happy to do that. The grounds are stunning and relaxing. We would sit ourside in the evening with a local beer (great IPA and Blond) and listen to the birds."

"We selected reserved a room which we were not allocated but a significantly worse room, dirty and with plaster falling from the ceiling from a prior leak, poor WiFi, appalling shower room, and no amenities. ( All had to be prearranged) So no drinking water on a day when it was 34 degrees. Owner said he decided to change it. The room had a plug badly fitted to wall with extension bar for the TV and box. Health and safety issues"

"Accueil cordial. Restaurant trop cher pour les plats proposés. Petit déjeuner très minimaliste, une seule viennoiserie au choix, un seul tarif de 15 euros même si l'on ne consomme que du pain. Taches sur la housse de couette. Heureusement, l'environnement est très agréable. "

"Stay was very good and we would definitely stay there again if in the area. Room was fine and clean. Good breakfast. Cannot comment on dinner because restaurant was not open on the night we stayed. Location was stunning - overlooking the river."

"Beware! The bedrooms are outside - great in the summer, not so much in January. Room was cold on arrival and took a while to warm up. Not a great choice in the restaurant either."

"Room was very clean, bathroom was tired & needed an update but the biggest problem was the road noise. There was no air conditioning in the room (number 9) just a fan provided. There were 2 large windows to open but the road noise was constant and very very noisy all through the night so not able to leave the windows open. This room was on the junction of a busy road. I would not choose this hotel again. "
