「As a solo traveler it was a good experience just not everyone as welcoming in the country」

「Hotel Rustico is actually like a service apartment. I love the environment around, they provided more than enough household equipment. There also some leisure places to walk, bicycle for you to ride and swing for kids. The boss and his mother are very nice, we enjoyed our vacation there very much. However, the lighting system needed to be upgraded.」

「The room is tidy, neat and decent. Tin, the only staff member of the hotel, is efficient, friendly, helpful and nice. However, the description on the website that the hotel is 12-minute walk away from Entrance 2 and 21-minute walk from Entrance 1 of the Plitvice National Park is false. It is actually far away from entrances. We had to hire a taxi (200 kuna per ride) to reach the hotel after getting off the bus, and then from hotel to Plitvice next day. Not recommended for those traveling...

「We stayed as a family of 4 from the UK. This was a superb campsite with excellent mobile home facilities. Our home was clean and modern and the campsite was quiet and well maintained. The food at in restaurant and pool bar was excellent and we had a 20% discount as we’d booked via Expedia. Breakfast was a little disappointing as they served one option but there was an al la carte option that could be paid for. I liked their fresh bakery service where you can pay and pick up fresh backed goods in...

「Davo & Visnaya have a beautiful mountain retreat very close to the Plitvice Lakes National Park. The rooms are comfortable as is the property with many nice outdoor sitting areas. There is also a wonderful spa with hot tub and sauna that is beautifully kept, and a wonderful respite after seem hiking. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. I also recommend that you take your dinner there, as Visnaya is a great cook and is happy to meet your dietary needs. They also have a nice wine...
