Vacation Rentals in Kars Province

"Deniz’s place is great to stay in if you are very social, want to meet locals in Kars and/or love dogs. Deniz invited us to many outings with her friends in Kars, including dinner at her place, an outing to Ani and coffee with her friends and we were happy to be included and to get a taste of local life in Kars. She’s also a big big dog lover—she’s adopted a lot of stray dogs and they live happily in her garden and in her apartment upstairs. (If you don’t like dogs though, don’t worry—the bottom floor is for guests and the dogs don’t come in there) The guesthouse was well-furnished. We had an enormous private bathroom and there is a kitchen and washing machine specially for guests. Located in the center of Kars, 10 min walk from the bus station and pretty much any other place you would want to go to in Kars. Special shoutout out to Denis for her extreme consideration in quickly sending over some items I left behind on the day I checked out to the airport via taxi. Thank you for saving me Denis!!"

"This hotel is easy walking distance to the main shops and transportation to Ani, as well as the Kars Castle and the train station. It also had surprisingly fast wifi, and a nice breakfast spread! The staff doesn't speak much (if any) English, and people were smoking in the main lobby (and rooms), but all in all I enjoyed my stay. "

"Perfect stay. I loved everything about Kars Oteli. The building is one of the few remaining old Russian mansions in Kars, my room was spacious and comfortable with a wonderful long outside balcony. The bed was superb. The room had a fridge, kettle and coffee machine, also a cafetière. A good breakfast. Most of all Metin Bey was excellent, he found me a Turkish tour (museums, Ani, lake çıldır) for the next day, and helped with every query. He kindly packed me a good breakfast for the doğu ekspresi - lucky as there's no food on the train (only on the tourist one). I highly recommend staying here. "

An iconic hotel thoughtfully decorated A perfect balance of comfort and hospitality! All of the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and at home. I don’t remember the name of each one of them but they were all professional and nice always ready to help and assist. Miss Melisa, Ebru and Mr Erhan were extremely helpful with everything! Oh not to forget the breakfast was so delicious! What truly sets Katerina Sarayi apart for me is Niko (the cat) and the outstanding service! I may have repeatedly emphasized on the service and hospitality but having stayed in many different hotels around the world I’ve never came across such a beautiful team! Looking forward to go back!
