"I had booked Aamod Dalhousie for 2 nights (19th - 20th Dec 2019) . As luck would have it, Dalhousie experienced heavy snowfall during that week and roads leading up to Aamod was closed to traffic as a safety measure. I was told that the only option of reaching Aamod was by walking on foot, in ankle deep slippery snow on an uphill terrain measuring 4 to 5 Km. "This is my favourite hotel in McLeod Ganj. It's about a 5 minute walk from the main bazaar, located in a wooded area that's quiet and has spectacular views of Mt. Dhauladhar and the valley. The rooftop restaurant has some of the best views in the area, and the food is good. Lots of variety, and everything I had was well prepared. It has a surprisingly well equipped gym, probably the best I've seen in a hotel. New and high quality equipment, free weights and aerobic things like treadmills and stationary bikes. Staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it. The only problem was that only half of the powerpoint worked. Not a big deal though."

"From booking through the return from our excursion, the overall experience was excellent. The property is well maintained and professionally managed, with staff who are welcoming and attentive from arrival. Consistent with what one might expect from an ITC-associated property, Storii blends local cultural touches with attentive hospitality and quality cuisine. The newly built rooms combine local design with modern amenities and offer scenic views of the apple valley. One area for improvement: I'd booked via Hotels.com with "Pay at Property," but received multiple pre-arrival calls requesting 50% upfront payment. Staff were courteous each time, but on arrival, the full stay was charged immediately at check-in — defeating the purpose of that booking option. Not a dealbreaker, but future guests should confirm payment terms directly with the property before booking. The approach road is still under construction, though the property itself is fully accessible and operates at full capacity. Staff were proactive in managing any resulting inconvenience, ensuring guests could arrive and depart safely and comfortably."
