「Our room was a suite with a kitchenette, living area, separate bedroom, and bathroom. I wasn’t aware when booking that this was the type of room I had selected, and I don’t believe it was clearly specified. The additional space wasn’t necessary for our stay and also made the room more expensive. Next time, I would probably choose a different hotel or stay in another town.」

「The room was clean enough, except the carpeting looked like it needed to be walked on while wearing shoes. The wall a/c unit had 2 fan levels: loud and louder. It did help drown out the nearby train whistles, however.」

「Needed a room for my mom in law later in the evening and they were close to Torrington. Decent reviews so I sent her there but made the reservation after 9.. Small print said they don't answer the door after 9...she tried to get an answer fr 20 minutes and didn't get a response so had to send my 76 year old M-I-L down the road to a chain hotel. $55 down the drain.」
