"We arrived on Tuesday this week and checked out today at Noon. The arrival was first class. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room 540 was excellent being in a quieter area on the second floor with a courtyard view. Room amenities were excellent. The restaurant was very good with great staff attention to detail. The only fault I had was that my fillet steak was well done when I asked for medium. The staff were very apologetic. The bottle of red wine was served and not what was ordered. Again not the waitress fault. We drank it anyway. There was no deduction from the bill for either mistake. The siting of the hotel was very central to the town with parking on site. There was a spa and leisure club which we did not use as my wife had a cold. Well done. We will return."

"I absolutely loved my stay at Westport Woods Hotel and Spa! It’s in such a charming area right by the quay, with plenty of walkable dining options and a small grocery store just around the corner. The staff were incredible - so welcoming and helpful. Everything was very clean, the buffet breakfast was top notch, and the pool, sauna, and steam room were a lovely bonus. It was the perfect place to reset and recharge after staying in hostels. I would absolutely stay here again!"

"Great hotel. Lots of parking. We had a family room which was huge. Breakfast was fantastic with very friendly staff. The bar is nice with great staff and really nice food. Reception staff were lovely. Check in/check out very quick. Only 2 things I'd change: 1. Last orders for food is 8pm. I think 9pm would be better for later eaters. 2. The same few songs played over and over in the bar. The songs were good Irish songs but we heard them at least 5 times each. Oh and 1 more thing. There was no entertainment for St. Patrick's Day which was pretty disappointing. The bacon and cabbage with parsley sauce was divine though. Would I stay again??? YESSSS!!!!!!!!"

"A bit disappointing this time around. There were no lamps in the room, the outlets were hard to access, the shower caulking was falling apart, and the wifi didn't work in the room so I had to hotspot. Okay for one night but would have been difficult to have an extended stay. The location is of course superb and the staff at the coffee shop is really lovely and super helpful. "
