This is a great place with really helpful and welcoming staff. The location is perfect as it’s central but far enough away from bars that it is peaceful at night. Breakfast terrace on 5th floor is fantastic with amazing views of the lake.

We had a wonderful five nights, staying in two rooms as a family. We had views of the lake from our rooms; the highlight was eating breakfast with wonderful views. The staff were very helpful - my son and I were able to play tennis at the local club which was fun! The bar was lovely in the evenings, with pool and table football available. The hotel was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and it was ideally located for the beach, shops and a fabulous choice of restaurants. I highly recommend this accommodation!

Lovely little hotel in a great location close to the lake. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and went out of their way to offer suggestions for activities and places to see. Room cleaned every day and lovely lake view. Nice breakfast in a dining room with stunning views. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Absolutely wonderful stay at Hotel Bonotto! I stayed on the fourth floor in a room with stunning lake views. The room was very well appointed, with comfortable twin beds, a nice bathroom with shower and a balcony which was a real highlight, offering beautiful views over the town and lake. Breakfast was a continental spread, plentiful and delicious. What sets this hotel apart is the wonderful staff. Throughout our stay, the staff went out of their way to help – arranging taxis & giving advice on buses to the airport, offering advice on towns to visit around the lake, giving us a plug adapter etc. Overall, a 10/10 experience. Fantastic stay – I’ll definitely be recommending Hotel Bonotto to everyone visiting Lake Garda!

This hotel has a great location. Very close to Lake Garda and within easy reach of public transport and the ferry. The staff are outstanding, very helpful and extremely friendly. The property is quite dated, but very clean as is reflected in the rooms. The air conditioning was minimal making it hard to sleep most nights. The greatest negative for us was the noise. From 6am doors were slamming and the volume of noise increased as housekeeping started to clean at 8am. Their supplies were kept in cupboards outside of guest rooms and there was constant loud talking again door slamming and moving of furniture. The walls are paper thin, therefore you can hear everything from the rooms on either side of you. We enjoyed our stay,but left feeling sleep deprived 😴

Good, not 5*, but really fine.

Other than being a bit noisy and the curtains not being blackout I think this turned out to be a great hotel. There is only one staff member working reception and bar so don't expect anything special or fast there. The room was really clean, air con wasn't too intrusive, balcony did slope but totally fine, bed was comfy. We used the terrace multiple times including renting it one evening, it was lovely.

Fantastic hotel

Fantastic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by friendly helpful staff. The reception area was pristine. We had arrived late in the evening but check in was fast. There is a lift in the building to all the floors. Our room was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was fantastic with hot and cold food, breakfast was from 7 am to 10 am so no need to rush. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great as it’s in the centre of town but was also very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were always on hand if needed and was knowledgeable about restaurants and things to do in the town and the local area. We are already planning our next holiday and will stay in Hotel Bonotto, highly recommend.

Hotel close to town centre with plenty of cafes and restaurants. Short walk to the ferry for access to towns on Lake Garda A good 20 minute walk to train but there is a bus every half hour outside the hotel. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean and serviced every day.
