I would recommend to stay away from this property. The rooms have no adjustable air conditioning and they’re very warm I’d say around 78-80 degrees. They did let us check out the room first and offered us a refund if we thought it was too hot, we ended up staying because we had a big group with reservations in the same place but they do get a couple brownie points for that. I felt so bad you could tell even the employees were sweating bullets. When we tried to cool off in the shower, there was no cold water. No mini fridge or microwave in the room. You couldn’t open the windows. The room was quite small. Half of the treadmills in the gym didn’t work and it was hot in there too. The ice machine on our floor only worked like 1/5 days we were there. The breakfast was very mid and there pancake machine was broken the whole time (the best part of hotel breakfast ). The only parking they have is valet which is $50 per night, all surrounds parking lots require pay to park every day/night, and they were pretty sketchy. The staff was very nice atleast.

I booked for a king size bed standard room, they gave me a queen size bedroom, when asked, they said they are out of rooms that's all they had available, althought they charged me for a King size bedroom. No microwave, no refrigerator in the room. Also the thermometer is regulated by the facility and can't be lowered or increased. The only good thing here is the vallet service.

Parking is an absolute nightmare and a total joke. You already pay to stay and either have to pay for valet or every time you leave property. Will not be staying again due to this.

Paying for valet is definitely the way to go; easy and convenient. One of the elevators didn’t go to the floor we needed for some reason and you can’t change the temperature in the room without a work order which made it a little uncomfortable. The area is walkable and close to a variety of dining options.

This holiday inn should not be open for business in such a demanding location. To begin with the staff just ain’t happy you’re there to say the least, when we arrived they let us know right off the bat before a good afternoon or greeting “you will not be able to control the temperature in your room, our AC is currently out” our travel dates were 07/11-07/14 when it is hot most days out of the weekend, given the drive, how hard it would be to find another booking yet alone get charged with half the price if we canceled, didn’t really give us a choice so we stayed. Saturday we woke up and as a lot of us, we love hotel breakfast, waffles, pancakes, well to our disappointment neither were being served, what you get are watered down eggs that make your stomach hurt an hour later, spoiled fruit, plastic like bacon and cereal, great way to start our day. After we went out all day and when we came back to our room as we opened the door a gust of just build up hot air hit our faces, we looked at each other and sucked it up, we said let’s do cold showers and we’ll be fine, the whole building did not have cold water, we had to shower with severe hot water no matter how long we waited with the shower on, cold water was no where in sight. Parking is the worst as well. I will never be booking a holiday in.

Liked the location! Near so much to see and do in downtown Denver. Lack of sufficient air conditioning in rooms is a MAJOR problem this time of year. That needs to be addressed. Would not recommend staying during summer months.

The hotel was clean & tidy, although the evening desk lady was inconvenienced by checking us in. Nice location handy to visit the old government buildings and monument park areas. Free bus nearby. The breakfast was good, the staff member in the food area was very helpful. I would recommend this accommodate.

The hotel staff was very knowledgeable, and the room was exceptionally clean, which I truly appreciated. However, I did have a small issue on the morning of my checkout. Although my checkout time was clearly listed as 12:00 PM, I was woken up at 10:40 AM by a housekeeper who informed me—somewhat abruptly—that we had an early checkout, which I assume she meant to be 11:00 AM. I called the front desk to confirm, and they assured me that my checkout time was indeed 12:00 PM. While it wasn’t a major problem, I haven’t been getting much rest lately, so I didn’t appreciate being woken up earlier than necessary. I hope this was just a one-time miscommunication and that it will be addressed to prevent confusion for future guests
