"We used Staybridge Suites as a base to visit St. Andrew’s, Carnoustie and a day trip to Inverness. While initially booked for 2 nights, we extended to 4 because of the room comfort and breakfast option. The breakfast area staff were very nice. The parking lot fills quickly so on 2 nights we parked in the Dundee City lot 2 minutes down the street which is free from 6pm to 8 a.m. but you can pay when you park to extend your morning time if you want to sleep in. Ironically, I received a ticket for parking on the Staybridge property for one of the 2 nights I had paid notwithstanding that I had input my plate on both the electronic parking terminal as well as the hotel registration. While Staybridge quickly cancelled the parking offence, I’m still waiting to see if the car hire company is going to charge me a 35 pound admin fee for the incorrect charge."

"We had a really good stay Our room was spacious and we had a great view of the V&A and waterfront. Plenty of towels. Nice tea/coffee tray with biscuits. Enough easily accessible plug points to charge devices. Check-in was quick and efficient with all relevant information given. We had breakfast on our second morning and it was a normal, good hotel breakfast and the price was reasonable. Staff were all very pleasant and helpful. We would especially like to compliment the lady who was on shift in bar Friday and Saturday nights (I am sorry I don't know her name but she has blue hair). She looked after us really well and, also, took great pride in her work."

"By far the worst experience I've had at an accommodation after traveling to 30+ countries. I was never sent the check-in instructions. Not in the junk folder either. As I was arriving at night, there was nobody there to help. I called the off-hours emergency line and was answered by a man who appeared to be based in a completely different region and could not help with check-in. Seeing no other option, I checked into a different property for the night. When I came back the next day, I was assisted by the very kind man from maintenance. But the room I was assigned was under construction. I came into the room to see appliances in the middle of the room and sawdust everywhere. With the help of the maintenance worker, was able to reach the property management and get a new room reassigned and finish my stay. The room itself is fine, but the cleanliness could be improved. The laundry room was very messy. Overall, not worth the trouble at all. If you book here, know that you are on your own entirely outside of office hours. I would not recommend this accommodation."
