Luxurious, private, expensive If you are looking for a high-end gateway this is probably one of the best options in the Balkans. The Location and the setting was amazing. Rooms and property (and in suite) pools were great. Service was friendly and accommodating. Included breakfast was good. The in-room amenities and beach club were ok.

Wasn’t quiet due to Grocery store & children’s play area located below our Mimosa Deluxe Suite with Sea View. It is a large property & these amenities could have been located away from living area & balconies. The “blackout” draperies listed as an in room amenity weren’t black out material. So window coverings didn’t block out light especially during night where streetlights on the plaza outside the bedroom remained on all night.

The Portonovi Resort is a genuinely remarkable location. In truth, it’s not so easy to describe within the constraints and confines of a short review. Check out its own app and website to see that this is actually a recently man-made village (on, somewhat incredibly - because the location is stunning - the former site of a large shipyard), in which there is a five-star hotel of the One & Only group; high-end apartments for sale, retail outlets, a gymnasium, delicatessen, a marina for superyachts, a beautiful beach club and half a dozen or so restaurants. The rental accommodation is commodious, tasteful, fully and beautifully equipped. Does it come at a price?. Naturally. And, truth be told, it was the farthest thing from our normal type of holiday destination. But we loved it from first moment to last. Treat yourself: just go👍.

This was our second trip to Portonovi inside a year and that’s all the more remarkable given that we’ve never gone anywhere twice. It’s a niche destination, for sure, and it can be beaten on price. But it offers a touch of quiet luxury, terrific accommodation, spectacular scenery, every amenity under the Montenegrin sun and much more besides.

Das Personal ist nicht sehr freundlich und ein wenig unprofessionell. Am ersten Tag wollte ich die Haushälterin jeweils am Morgen um 10Uhr - jeden Tag kam sie spät am Nachmittag. Immer verschieden. Auch nicht gut geputzt. Der Pool riecht nach Urin.

Where to start? Staying in this hotel was more than an amazing experience. Everything was completely perfect. We were able to check-in earlier than planned we got free upgrade to the 3 bedroom suite instead of 2 bedroom one. Staff were amazing, polite and ready to help at all times. Portonovi is really precious and must visit resort! Luxurious yet sophisticated, what more to ask for? Huge terrace looking over the marina, private pool on a roof top looking over the whole Portonovi. If you’re thinking about visiting, be sure to do it! And of course, beach is the best beach in the whole Adriatic riviera. It feels like you’re in Spain or Maldives.. white sand and crystal clear sea.
