"Very remote, which was both good and bad. Good as really felt away from it all, and therefore very relaxing, but access was by a steep dirt track and really only suitable for 4x4 vehicles. The property is very large and spacious, well equipped kitchen (only thing missing was a corkscrew!) with nice comfy beds and a very large garden. Clean enough to be comfy but no so much that you felt the kids couldn’t run in and out for fear of getting the floors grubby. A lovely mix of old rustic charm and...

"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."
