Perfect place for our stay to participate as a "Living-history Performer" for the airshow at Laughlin AFB. Biggest plus for us: getting a room down the hall from the indoor pool and hot tub and being treated like ADULTS, allowed to use it anytime (late at night, early morning) instead of some places that lock you out at 9 p.m. THANK YOU. We used it every day and the sauna too. One negative: service was NOT reliable. Of 4 full days there we received service of new towels, coffee, shampoo, etc only twice. BOO. PLUS: loved the welcome free margarita tickets upon check in and truly LOVED the comp breakfast tickets for airshow people and the MENUDO in the breakfast buffet made this Latina sooooo happy! Will stay here again in two years for next airshow!

I like the room, but some how staff made the mistake of giving me another person room. The lady must have gotten confuse. Confuse, because I waited in line and someone skipped. I got mad saying how rude of the person and the front desk for not attending me as I was next in line. So I sated about what happened and I guess to make it up, she gave me a great room.

Hotel Review
The hotel staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was as comfortable as a hotel bed can be. I enjoyed the stay. I had issues with hot water for my morning shower, which I later found out was due to issues with the water pump. Also, the coffee pot was already full of water, which I thought was kind of gross. I went to Starbucks.

I loved the hotel, but unfortunately dusting in the rooms or wiping things down was not a priority. You could actually see where it was wiped and where it wasn’t, as the dust was thick. Not really what I want to see. The night table had sticky stuff on it and that was gross. It was quiet and I did appreciate that . The bed was comfy and room was nice and cold.

We often stop here on our way from Laredo to our home in Terlingua. It breaks up the trip and the staff is so very friendly and they also treat Miss Gus Gus like a rock star. She loves the grass. One of the few places she can meander in grass without fear of stickers in her paws.

Our hotel was completely remodeled last year and our lobby is one of the brightest rooms in Del Rio with our 20 foot ceiling and white walls so it's very confusing to hear that you experienced a dark and dated property. The front desk staff was super friendly, especially Jessica. She made us feel welcome. The breakfast buffet was so delicious. The omelet station was the bomb, and the menudo was the best I have had, and I've tasted many bowls of menudo. The rooms were clean.

I did not like the fact that none of the lamps worked in my room nor the TV. Only the mirror at sink and bathroom light worked. I found a plug hanging out the wall by the night stand. This hotel is going through some renovations right now and the contractors are cutting corners. The plug was not only hanging out the wall but texture was all over plug including the carbon dioxide detector that was plugged in that I doubt Works due to Condition it's in. I brought is up to the front desk about the problem no apology did not seem to care about it. The breakfast was not very good food just sitting out in warmers no one came up to me and offered anything to drink had to ask. Will not be staying here ever again. I have pictures of the plug hanging out the wall with texture on it. I will gladly send them to who ever would like to see.
