"Overall it was a nice stay. We originally booked a view of the pool, but as we checked into our room we were disappointed. It wasn't a great view. There were many trees blocking the view of the pool. The load noise of children screaming with excitement in the pool was not what we were expecting either. ..."

Well, 17 mile drive is definitely worth doing if you're anywhere near Carmel, CA...and I'd highly recommend getting there about an hour before sunset...
