This place was by far one of the best smaller motels that I have stayed at. Rooms are nice and where way larger than expected. Best part of the stay was the lady that manages the place. She was always helpful when you needed something and best of all was a blast to talk with every time. If I every have to get a room in the area again this will be the place I'd pick. Had a much better experience here than at the ones over in holiday city.

Inexpensive Inn, that needs many upgrades

The room needs repairs and upgrades, and could benefit from a few inexpensive items, ie., new toilet seat, lamp shades, box of kleenex, garbage can . . . We had a restful stay, but many more expensive upgrades are required as well. For the Price, the Bryan Inn is just what we expected.

I do not understand why expedia sell rooms for this place, is dirty, unsafe, noisy, flies and mosquitoes in the room, the bathroom is molty and filty, this place looks luke a shelter for homeless, a lot of people living in this place, i stayed 1 hour until i found somewhere else to stay

Great simple style motel!

Hotel manager was very friendly and worker with me to get up at 3oclock in the morning to geg me checked in after a late Amtrak drop-off. Motel was very affordable and exactly what I needed after a long train journey: a hot shower, and a bed to sleep on. No muss, no fuss. Room did have a microwave and a minifridge, which a lot don’t include at this price point these days. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to stay in Bryan in the future, because I am used to simple, small town Americana motels. It aint luxury, but it was just what I needed

Inside smelled like smoke; there was no evidence of smoking in the room, but at a minimum it was coming in from outside. The jacuzzi tub stopped working after 15 minutes and then would not drain. Interesting decor in this room ;)

Got my room they supposedly did a remodel the floors in the bathroom were not done right walls were not done the bedding wasn’t cleaned there was dog hair all over the sheets the comforter had stains it really looked they just went in there after someone left made the bed I will not be going back there ever again

I am an accepting traveler. This and only 2 other properties out of 100s in my traveling experience rate “never again”. Shower curtain was stained or moldy, there were large splotches of paint on the floor, I slept with my socks on to avoid skin contact with the floor if I should need to visit the potty. I kept clothes securely zipped in my suitcase and at no time let comb, toothbrush etc touch surfaces. Damn the no refund policy!! Spend more and stay elsewhere.

This place has gotten worse every time we have stayed there. 1. After arriving, there were no towels in the room. 2. No soap, shampoo or conditioner in the room. 3. Only one trash can in the room. 4. Cracked toilet seat and stained bathtub/shower. 5. Took 10 minutes to get hot water. 6. No employee in the lobby (even though the door was unlocked). Went in at 11am to get new towels and TOILET PAPER. No one, so…. 7. Nobody answered the phone when we were in the lobby. (Rang over 25 times.) 8. There was a cockroach. 9. Owner/Manager blamed that they can’t find any one to work when I complained.

Maybe the worst motel we ever stayed in

First the key wouldn't work in our room,even they couldn't get in the room. They moved us to two rooms witch where not next to each other. The rooms were dirty and a open garbage container was next to our room. We couldn't get fresh towels without letting them into the room to clean which they never cleaned just threw the towels on the bed. I wouldn't recommend this motel to anyone. Also switch was broken on some of the lights so you had to plug and unplug them to make them work.

The property is under new management so I can understand a few of the reasons why expectations were not exactly met. Located in a small town with only one other property showing up that is within Bryan, OH. There are some major updates that are needed. The flooring in the room needs properly redone, it was cut and put in horribly. There's separation between the bathroom flooring and the flooring for the rest of the room. There's no exhaust fan, just a small window that will need to be opened when taking a shower. The toilet seat was worn down and should be replaced. The bed was absolutely horrible; it was an older spring mattress that was WAY too firm. There wasn't a bedbug cover or anything I could find that would aid in prevention against those horrendous creatures. The headboard was obviously cut from a frame and just mounted on the wall. The comforter had rips and holes. Everything in that room was mismatched, which honestly added to the small town motel charm. The parking lot was in great shape, the exterior of the property looked really nice. However, it really looked like there were people there who were living there; I wouldn't be surprised with the rising rates in rent and prices in housing. I don't fault the property on that. If there are longer term stays, there's nothing that advertises the property as an extended stay. The cleanliness of the room was something to be desired. There is a ton of room for improvement. Curious of the future plans for this property.

Never stay here

There was dust so thick on the ceiling fan you could tell it had not been cleaned for a long time, other cleaning issues as well. My reservation was for 2 beds when I got there they only had a room with 1 bed available. I was there for my Mom's funeral. Drove over 400 miles. Wanted to stay local and brought my small dog, I felt like I was out of choices. We took the room and stayed for the 4 days. On the third day we didn't get clean towels, I called to the front desk, she said someone would bring me some, never did. Next morning as I checked out she stammered and said well I guess they didn't get the message. Shower worked good, but the side of the tub was hard getting over. The T.V. worked but we didn't watch it much.

We enjoyed our stay here, they offer a shuttle to take you to the ferry for free but you can purchase your actual ferry tickets at the front desk in the hotel. Free daily breakfast, love the rustic look of the place. It’s a bit outdated with some things such as carpeting, but regardless we enjoyed our stay

It was gross! There was mold in the bathtub. A visible blob was hanging off the grab bar! There was NO WAY that was missed! The room was obviously not cleaned. My feet were BLACK from walking on the floor! We cut our stay short and got an air b&b! They don't even deserve one star!!
