The parking garage was not well lit. We did enjoy the easy, walkable access to shops and restaurants.」

「The property is a beautiful old home from 1800's. The grounds are well kept and the bathrooms are upgraded beautifully. There are fire pits for cooler weather. It was off season so the pool and hot tubs were not available. The game room is very fun and the parlor had some snacks and drinks.」

There were brown stains on the ceiling that looked like oil marks ,brown rings in the sink and tub…holes and tears all over the floor- I would not go there again. To say it was just run down is an understatement.」

「Had an unexpected stop in Staunton, VA due to tire problems… booked the Blackburn Inn last minute to stay over and get van new tires. Pulled up and thought we were at wrong place. A beautiful historic colonial building looked like a college campus but was the Blackburn Inn. I researched and found out it used to be a hospital built in 1800’s. Very clean, well maintained and restored. The front desk allowed me to keep my room till noon on checkout while waiting for van repair. Only...
