「When I arrived late on Thursday night (Friday AM), my room was not clean.」

「Paid for a six night stay in full. Left a day early due to loud construction that starts at 6:30 am every morning. Was charged without notice a $294 early departure fee. When I checked out the gentleman said nothing as I would have kept the room empty vs pay again for a night I had already paid for. When I asked Hilton they said I need to read the fine print on website. I asked the representative Alex to send that to me and he said he couldn’t to look at website. Be aware loud construction...

「The room smelled strongly of marijuana, cigarette smoke, and mold when we arrived. Unfortunately, the air conditioning didn't cool the room very well, and the cigarette smell lingered throughout our stay. By the time we left, our clothes had absorbed the odor. The refrigerator was one of the few positives—it kept everything cold, and the freezer worked perfectly. I would recommend keeping your food in grocery bags while it's in the fridge. Be sure to bring flip-flops or sandals. The floors...

「This new space is all that and more! They couldn't have been more helpful, and there was everything we needed for a simple two night stay. For those that may need longer stays, the amenities are top notch and they provide any essentials needed. We are so happy we found this location on our recent visit to the Norfolk area.」

「The bathroom was not clean. The front staff was notified about this and nothing was done to rectify it. Also, I paid for an upgraded room and did not receive it. Was told all the other rooms were sold out. Lastly, the room smelled of smoke when I booked a non-smoking room.」

「Had the best stay at Decoy's!!!! Cottage #1 exceeded our expectations - THE VIEW!!! the adorable decor, the most comfortable bedding... I could not recommend this place more. The area is super safe and kid-friendly. The cottages do not have front desk staff available in person, but everyone we spoke to over the phone was incredibly helpful and accommodating. We made the most beautiful memories here in the cottages with our family - 5 stars all around. Thank you, Decoy's!」
