「This is without doubt the worst European hotel that I've stayed in. I would sincerely recommend not using it. They are just hopeless. It's a hovel and the staff are just unbelievably nonchalant and unhelpful. When I eventually managed to get somebody to come to check me in (late afternoon, so a normal sort of time) he had obviously just fallen out of bed and all he could tell me was that I hadn't paid my bill yet. I was able to show him my Expedia receipt and he reluctantly laid off. There were...

「The grounds are beautiful. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The bed was comfortable and the shower had good pressure. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of choice, and the food was high quality. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We were travelling with pets and the hotel put a packet of cat treats in our room which was a thoughtful touch. We would definitely stay there again.」
