"Really fun little hotel, with super helpful staff, who took care of our every need. The larger rooms on the first floor are really great, with a bathtub in the room and nice decor. We did have a night in a second floor room also- just a bit small for us- we’ve been traveling for a while so have more stuff than someone on a weekend away- though still lovely decor and nice and quiet. We used this hotel as a base to explore the area of Friesland and were really happy with the choice."

"The location was good and very peaceful, but also close to the shopping area, which was nice. The staff were very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the bed which was shown at the time of booking was different from the beds available when we reached the hotel. We booked at this hotel specifically because we thought there would be one whole, solid double bed. Instead, the bed was made of two single beds pushed together, with no mattress pad on top. Top De Wilgen Hotel Reviews

Van Der Valk Hotel Sneek

10/10 Excellent

"An excellent hotel. The bedroom was large and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of food. The location was a little way outside the centre of Sneek and without a car it may be difficult to access the City of Sneek. I would recommend this hotel."
