We were 3 weeks ol the Garden Route and this was definitely the best stay. Really lovely and caring hosts, great rooms with amazing sea views, a suberb breakfast and also their dinner tip was really great (and you can even walk there safely at night!) Will definitely come back during whale season (when they whales are supposed to be directly in front of your room!)

Everything was immaculate. Welcoming hosts. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. Whale watching from room was amazing and good sightings along the bay too. Room was beautiful and well equipped with thoughtful touches. Would highly recommend as a better alternative to staying in Hermanus.

What a great place and what a breakfast

Fabulous location on the cliff top and wonderful views of the ocean. We weren't in Whale season,but if we had been they would have been in touching distance. Stewart and his wife Will, run a great business, really friendly and engaging and everything is top quality, from towels to bedding and loads of lovely detail. Major highlight were the breakfasts which rank as the best ever. Presentation stunning, food so fresh and always varied. Little gem this one

What an experience!

Have to say 65 on Cliff wins the best guesthouse we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, till the day we left, we could not fault anything. The decor and furnishings are next level, the view is splendid, the whole experience was truly remarkable. The breakfast was something to be seen, and the home baked croissants made breakfast so exciting every day. Well done to Willemien and her team.

Wale beobachten vom Balkon

Wir waren leider nur 1 Nacht dort. Das Haus ist top modern und liebevoll detailliert eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber mit super Ausblick auf die Bucht. Wir konnten vom Balkon aus Wale beobachten. Will und Stewart sind perfekte und charmante Gastgeber. Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!

Hard To Imagine Anything Better

The past excellent reviews say it all. Great hosts, breakfast is a work of art and views are amazing. We did not come during whale season (can only imagine when it feels like the whales are in your room!), but great wildlife and beautiful coastal walk and sunset. Eat dinner this time of year before sunset as everything closes early and if you enjoy yourself to long you are not left with good options (this would have been easily solved if we had asked, but did not even think hard to find restaurant at 9 pm).

Piccolo hotel con una vista mozzafiato. Pulitissimo. Stanze meravigliose. Excellent lodge + outstanding spot to see whales!

We had a wonderful time at 65onCliff. Stewart and his team made our stay excellent. The room was perfect, we had an outstanding and diversified breakfast every morning, combined with the amazing whales in front of the lodge, which we could view from the cliffs directly in front of the lodge (and even from our balcony). We enjoyed our stay so much and nothing was missing. Thanks for all the recommendations w/r to restaurants and places to be in the area, which have been so helpful. It was such a great time and we can recommend 65onCliff 100% as we would book the lodge definitely again!

Nice boutique hotel with a view

This is a nice boutique hotel with a superb location and great sea views. Everything is modern and fresh, a nice pool deck and the staff are very welcoming. Very impressive breakfast! Good value.
