The hotel was dirty; some elevator tiles were broken and sliding around, and the lobby was falling apart. A horrible first impression. The ceiling in our room was peeling and had water stains; the light fixtures on the wall were just hanging there. We had to ask for more towels and toilet paper. The only bright spot was that the workers were nice and helpful. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the attendants were nice. It was disappointing that I had to ask for towels and toilet paper. Breakfast was just ok. Not a lot of selections. The waffle machine was good, but the eggs were cold. For $200+ for two nights, I expected better quality. I understand this was not a 5-star resort hotel, but the hotel should still maintain basic cleanliness and upkeep.

This hotel was in a poor state of maintenance. Paint on walls was bubbled from past water damage, empty picture mounts on wall, hallways looked dingy and lobby looked like storage area. Breakfast was mostly a chaffing dish of biscuits n gravy and juice that tasted watered down. Already cancelled our return trip stay.

When trying to find my room, I couldn’t find it was on the other side of the wall. There’s no placards or anything on the walls. Tell me where anything is my room was terrible. Half the lights lit up or did not work. The popcorn ceiling was falling down I went into the bathroom. There was all bugs in the white white above me, and when I pulled the shower curtain across and mold all over it, the air conditioner in the room did not work, kept turning on and turning off people standing around Alzheimer smoking and throwing their cigarette butts everywhere, yelling and complaining and I refuse to be put back of the bill because it looked like there was crime happening. I didn’t feel safe back there so I asked for a room upfront by the Road. The people at the front desk were very nice to me and helpful. Also, the girl that took care of making beds and everything. She was nice and helped me find my room barely could have a good night sleep people in the hallway, knocking on the doors asking to come in and stuff into other rooms. I felt very unsafe.

The rug in the room was dirty. The whole building moved when people went up and down stairs or walked across the hallway floors. There was divots under the rug by the sink. And to top it off someone had peed in the elevator and staff didn’t seem inclined to clean it up.

This is a tired property that is in decline. Pieces of masonary trim fell off to the sidewalk. The office is poorly marked and is a little difficult to find. The TV and air conditioner worked OK and the bed was OK. Would only stay here if nothing else were available.

The bedroom ac was broken and did not work in the 1st room plus our tub was clogged with something black so no showers for us. The second room the ac worked and so did the tub but the toilet clogged! The pool was closed all weekend, the hallway rugs were sticky. The ice machine on the 3rd floor you had to shimmy shake it to get it to work. The pretzels in the vending machine were expired. The breakfast was far from a full breakfast. They had waffles and pancakes lol. We will not be staying here again!

The wall paint around the light fixtures was not properly masked, which left the finish looking unprofessional. The outdoor trash cans were overflowing, and several breakfast items were missing during my stay. Overall, the standards at this location were far below what I have come to expect from Wingate by Wyndham.

The Hotel has BED BUGS, crawling on beds! and full of ants! I was taken to Three rooms and I was not able to find a decent one! The CITY should close down this hotel and disinfect the hell out of it! THE OWNER WILL NOT RETURN THE MONEY BACK BECAUSE I REFUSED TO STAY THERE! I will find the proper authorities to complain for the infestation they have!

I feel like I got catfished. We were in Dayton for an impromptu baseball tournament and needed a place to stay for one night. Pool - was outside, this place is in hood and has live in residences. Did not feel safe although it was close to everything. Breakfast - they served biscuits, toast, and waffles and cereal. The juice machine wasn’t working and needed changing. Room had a no smoking sign but smelled liked 3 full cartons of cigarettes. Beds were uncomfortable. I was so happy to get out of there. Will not stay here again. Oh yeah, trash EVERYWHERE!

Absolutely filthy. Beer bottle under bed. Not vacuumed. Road noise was terrible. Bathroom floor had dirt everywhere, like actual sand/mud. Tub didn't drain. Shower curtain had burn holes in it. Hall was filthy. Broken flooring in elevator. Staff was polite. Parking lot was clean.
