Our stay at the microtel was disappointing. Our room was not cleaned well and we found a cockroach in our bed. The concierge was quick to make it right, and moved us to a new room. The property could use an upgrade, as both rooms we ended up in were looking rundown. The staff is the only thing we’d return for.

Pros: great staff, free breakfast(Waffles), good price, gave us a late check out just for asking. Cons: "free" wifi wasn't good enough to stream movies so had to pay $5 for that... on that note though usually hotel free wifi sucks, so I think I'd rather pay the 5 bucks for something that works. The room had a musty smell, it was clean, sure, but you know the smell. Vending machine, but no drinks in it. All in all I'd recommend, I'd also recommend some smell goods :)

While the staff was friendly and helpful, that was pretty much the only redeeming quality of this hotel. Everything looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. The rooms we had very filthy, from the dust coming out of the air conditioners, to the stains on the ceiling, to the bed linens themselves not looking quite right, to every door or other surface having this weird stickiness to it. And speaking of doors, the bathroom door in one of the rooms couldn’t close right. And the smell. Both rooms had a distinct odor. It was clear previous tenants had smoked or vaped in both rooms (one obvious as soon as you walked in; the other the smell didn’t kick in until the air conditioner was on). Would not stay there again and I don’t recommend it…until they get a serious overhaul in cleanliness.

there was a beer bottle that stayed on the window ledge the entire 3 days we were there. breakfast is a joke. if you have small children, watch the windows. our window had a lock but you could fully open it with no screen. our friends room didn't even have a lock on it. other than the sweet girl that was there when we checked in the evening we got there, the staff could use some customer service training.
